About Checkout Address Validator JP
For stores outside Japan shipping to customers in Japan. Shopify fills in the prefecture and city from a postal code but does not check the town or the house number, so typos become label errors. The app checks the address typed in Latin letters against Japan Post data inside the checkout. Errors appear under the field with the expected value and are fixed before ordering. Spelling variations are accepted. Works on every Shopify plan. No customer data is stored on our servers.
