Shopify uses a product's category to work out tax obligations, and that same category becomes the product category in Google, Meta and TikTok feeds. Verifying them is the merchant's responsibility, including the ones suggested automatically. Taxo reads each product's title, description and images, then assigns the matching category from Shopify's Standard Product Taxonomy. It works across a whole catalogue in one run, shows the price first, and bills only what is applied.
